The Group That Plays Every Week
For whoever organizes the Wednesday or Saturday game: one link to see who's in, teams dealt for you, last week's game refilled in a tap, and a season page.
Set up this week's game for free
Every regular game has one person who makes it happen. They send the text on Tuesday, count the replies on Thursday, work out the teams in the car park, and remember what everybody played for last week. If that is you, this page is for you.
None of it is hard. It is just the same forty minutes every week, and it all lives in your head.
Tuesday: one link instead of a roll call
Start a “Who’s in?”: a name and a day is all it needs; add a course, a tee time, and a format if you like. Share one link. People add themselves with a name and an email, no app needed, and everyone with the link sees the list.

Saturday morning: the round is already set up
When you are ready, Start the round opens the setup with everyone who is in already on it. Check it and tap Start round.
Teams. Tap Team 1 or Team 2 beside each name. With more than one group, the setup lays the groups out under “Who’s with whom?” and Move puts anyone in another group.
Tee times. Set a first time and an interval and the sheet fills itself; shuffle it, move a group, or type over any time.
Scoring. One link or a short code opens each group’s card on every phone, and nobody needs an account to enter scores. One person can score for the cart.
Next week: change nothing but the date
Tap “Play it again” on a past round and the setup refills with that round’s players, course, tees, teams and matches. Save your usual matches and they load onto whoever is playing next time. From a Who’s in, Run it back starts next week’s outing from this one.
Make the group official
Make it a crew: your Saturday game, the trip crew, the ladies’ nine. One tap adds the whole crew to a round, and the crew learns how often you play from the gaps between rounds: weekly, every other week, monthly.
Its season page is the part groups argue about from memory: rounds played, your record and last meeting with each regular, the longest streak, and the biggest day, this season or all-time.
If the group grows into a league
A league is a season of rounds. Points by finishing position, best N weeks so a missed week does not sink anybody, and standings that update as each week posts. (Running a league.)
The honest notes
- A sign-up needs a name and an email. No app and no account, but not nothing.
- Swilkin does not book the tee time with the course. It organizes your group; the pro shop still takes the booking.
- Starting a round needs a connection. Scoring does not: scores tapped with no signal are held on the phone and sync later.
