For teaching pros and their students

Every lesson, still there next week.

After each lesson, write what you worked on, with photos, a swing clip, and the homework. Your student reads it on their phone, or by email if they never install the app.

✓ Free for golfers, not a trial.

A lesson note on a phone, to Jordan Okafor, lesson 5: what we worked on (start line fixed, 24 of 30 through the gate; a pull with the driver when the top is rushed), Add photos and Add a clip, three links, and Send to Jordan

From one lesson to the next

1

Add the student

On You, tap Coach students and type their name. Add their email to invite them.

2

Write the note

What you worked on, photos, a clip, and up to three links. One tap sends it.

3

Set the homework

The note becomes a practice plan: the drills, the days, how many weeks.

4

See it done

Their page shows the homework they logged before they walk back in.

Lesson notes

The lesson, written down.

Open the student and tap + Lesson. Write what you worked on, add photos, up to three links, and a clip of up to 60 seconds, then send it.

Every note stays on the student’s page, newest first, so the next lesson starts where the last one stopped.

Clips

Swing video, both ways.

A student can send you a clip from their own note. In the iPhone app, the phone shrinks it before it sends, and where it was filmed is taken off it.

A clip is seen by you, the student and a parent who said yes.

A student’s note on his pro’s phone: Jordan Okafor, yesterday at 6:00 PM, “Range tonight, down the line with the 7-iron. Start line felt better through the sticks. Is the takeaway still too far inside?”, tagged Lesson with Jordan Okafor, over the first frame of his swing clip with a play mark

Homework

Homework you can see them do.

After a note, Set homework turns it into a practice plan. It starts the next day, with a reminder the student picks.

Their page shows what they logged. If they share their own practice with you, it shows all of it.

How practice works →

A pro’s page for her student Jordan Okafor: lessons every 2 weeks, the homework he logged on October 27 and 29 with each drill’s result, and his lessons, the latest with its Start line homework 2 of 2 done

The parts that make it work

Due a look

Your students lists who is past their usual gap between lessons, with the day of their last one.

Juniors

A student under 18 needs a parent’s yes, by email. That parent reads the notes too.

No app needed

A student can tap Just email me on the invite and take the lessons by email.

They write back

A student sends you a note from their side, with a clip if they like.

Stop any time

Either of you can stop the lessons. The notes you already have stay readable.

What golfers ask before they try it

Can kids use it?

Yes. A junior does everything except play for stakes, cash or beers. Playing for stakes is 18+. You can still set up any match. Scoring, stats, events, and every match on the list work the same. A junior can even be on a match the adults are playing for money, a parent and child against another pair, and they play for their side without owing or collecting anything, and never see a figure. A match played for something needs someone of age on at least two sides, so a parent against their own child plays it as a friendly match. The date of birth on file is what answers it, and it is also how the age limits an organizer sets (junior, senior) find the right golfers.

Is my data private?

Scores are open, and most of what you write isn't. Once a round is done, anyone holding its link can read the card, with no login, and the captions golfers wrote on it unless the round is private, kept out of friends' feeds or hiding its scores while it's played; while it's being played, only people connected to someone on it can see it. A finished round shows up in Home for anyone who's friends with a player on it, unless that player turned off Show in friends' feeds for it: then it's still there for anyone who looks. Posts go to friends unless you pick Everyone or Only me. Your email, phone, and birthday reach your friends only if you choose to share them, and your GHIN number stays yours alone. You can export everything you own as JSON or delete your account in-app; your rounds stay on your buddies' cards, with no account behind them.

Does it track my stats?

Scoring average, best round, birdies and eagles, and, when you track them, fairways, greens, and putts, with honest benchmarks for your handicap. It reads those numbers back to you too (which side you miss fairways, how often you three-putt, how the birdies-to-doubles spread is running) alongside your trend against earlier rounds and your weeks-in-a-row streak. Stats only count rounds you actually logged. A nine counts toward your rounds, birdies and fairway, green and putt stats; scoring average and best round come from full eighteens.

How much does it cost?

Free for golfers: scoring, bets, stats, rivalries, all of it. Running an event is free too: sign-ups, boards, leagues, all of it. No card, no per-event fee, and no trial that ends. Nobody in your foursome pays to get charged a skin.
