About

Why I built Swilkin: a golf app for your buddies.

Swilkin keeps the round-with-your-buddies part of golf dead simple: score it, settle it, and remember who beat who. It’s your golf life and your people, not a betting app; the money is just one honest little feature for when you want it.

Where it started

It began as a little site I built to run my annual tournament with my buddies: theisag.com. It did that one weekend a year, and every year I wanted it to be more: not just our trip, but every round, every match, everyone’s whole golf life.

It still gets built between rounds, by somebody who plays, for the way golfers actually play. It runs club championships, weekly leagues, charity scrambles and the annual trip, and it stays free for golfers.

If something’s missing, or not quite how your group plays it, tell me. I read every note, and I’m here to make it right. If you want to know whether it does the thing your group does, every answer is written down.
