Your Whole Golf Life, in One Place
Every round you play, with whoever you play it with: your scores, your stats, your record against each of them, and your people's golf when you open it.
Start your first round for free
Somebody sent you a link, or you searched for a golf app and landed here. Either way the fair question is the same one: what is this, and what do I get for using it?
The short answer is that Swilkin keeps your golf. Not one part of it. The round you play on Saturday, the people you play it with, what you shot, who beat who, the photo on the 18th green, and the club event in August all land in the same place, and they stay there.
It starts with a round
Start a round, nine holes or eighteen, add whoever you are playing with, and score it hole by hole from one phone or everyone’s own. Each golfer’s tee and strokes fill themselves in, and the card does the math: gross, net, who’s up.
The people you play with do not need the app. Add anyone by first name and score away. Later you can send them their record with one tap, and every round you played together is already on their account when they claim it.
Kept a paper card instead? Post the round afterwards, hole by hole or just the total, with any past date on it. (Posting a round afterwards.)
Every round adds to something
A round on its own is a number. Twenty of them are a picture of your game.
- Your stats. Scoring average, best round, birdies and eagles, and, when you track them, fairways, greens, and putts, read back to you: which side you miss, how often you three-putt, how you are trending against your earlier rounds.
- How you compare. With your index on your profile and a few tracked rounds, your fairways, greens and putts line up against the typical ranges for your handicap, so “what should I work on” has an answer.
- Your record against each person. Rivalries is your win-loss record against everyone you have played, counted in matches. Tap a name for every match, your current streak, and a card to share when you take one down.
- Your year. A weekly Rewind of your own week, and Season Wrapped at the end of the year.
Your people are there when you open it
Home is one stream. Whatever needs you sits on top (a round to finish, a tee time, an event waiting on you) and under it is everyone’s golf, yours included, ranked by who you actually play with. Double-tap to like a round. Say something in the comments. Add a photo to the round, or post one on its own.
(More on Home and your people, and finding them.)
The group you play with every week
Make your regular game a crew (the Saturday game, the ladies’ nine, the annual trip) and one tap adds everybody to a round. The crew’s season page shows the rounds, the records and the longest streak. Next week, “Play it again” refills the setup with the same players, course, tees, and games.
(The group that plays every week.)
When you play for something
Plenty of groups never do, and nothing in the app pushes it. If yours does (a match, a Nassau, skins, a few dots) the games ride on the same card and the round settles itself on one itemized receipt. Money figures stay out of the way until you have played for money yourself, and it is 18 and over. Swilkin never holds or moves a dollar. A junior plays every match and never the stakes. (A parent and a junior on the same card.)
And your club
The same card feeds a club championship, a league night or a charity scramble: sign-ups, flights, tee times, a live board on the clubhouse TV, and champions that stay on the record. A jacket you win sits in your own trophy case.
What it is not
It is not a GPS rangefinder and it does not track shots; fairways, greens, and putts are tapped in by hand. It does not calculate a handicap index or post scores to GHIN; you type your index and everything net uses it. It does not book tee times with a course. There is no native Android app; the web app runs in any phone’s browser.
Where to start
Play one round. Add the people you played with by name. Everything on this page grows out of that.
