Can people follow along from home? For an event, yes: share the board link or put the TV board up, and anyone can watch it in a browser with no app and no login, unless the organizer made the event private. A casual round in play shows live to anyone connected to someone on the card (a friend, or somebody they've played with) and everyone else can open its link once the round is done.
One card, scored live from one phone or everyone’s own, and anybody who will not install an app can still keep score from a link.
When the round ends Swilkin nets it all down to who owes who, with a receipt that itemises every dollar, no napkin arithmetic on the 18th green.
