Yes. A nine plays off half your course handicap. We hold one rating per tee, not a separate nine-hole one, and the game decides what happens to a half stroke: match play, Nassau, skins, wolf, and the other hole-against-hole games keep it; stroke play, stableford, and vegas round it. A Nassau follows its legs: match legs keep the half, stroke legs round it. A half that's kept lands on exactly one hole, the next-hardest after the full strokes. A leaderboard always rounds, so a nine-hole board and a nine-hole match between the same golfers can sit half a stroke apart.
