No. Add anyone by first name and score away: the buddies you play with most recently are one tap, and you can add a golfer mid-round too (though not onto a scramble's one ball). What you type about them (email, phone, index, GHIN, gender, birthday, only if you fill them in) is yours to edit until they join. Later, send them their record with one tap. They claim it and every round you've played together is already on their account.
