Can a league use a points table?
Yes. Set the points for each finishing position (halves are fine), count every week or only a golfer's best N with your own N; a tied week is placed by the event's own tie-breaks, and golfers they leave level share the points. The scheme can sit on the whole event or on one board of it. The order of merit shows each golfer's points and wins, with the scheme's rules written above the table.
